Heatwave Alerts

The IMD predicts heatwave conditions in the following states:

– Punjab, Haryana, Delhi: Expected heatwave till June 4.

– Jammu and Kashmir: Isolated heatwave conditions till June 4.

– lHimachal Pradesh: Heatwave conditions today.

– Uttar Pradesh: Heatwave conditions till June 5.

– Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh: Heatwave on June 3.

– Odisha: Heatwave until June 4, with further conditions from June 5 to June 6.

– Jharkhand: Heatwave from June 4 to June 6.

– Bihar, Konkan, Goa: Hot and humid weather on June 2 and June 4.

Heavy Rainfall Warnings

As the Southwest monsoon advances, heavy to very heavy rainfall is expected over:

– Assam, West Bengal, Sikkim, Meghalaya: Heavy rainfall until June 6.

– Arunachal Pradesh, Tripura: Heavy rainfall until June 4.

– Tamil Nadu: Heavy rainfall on June 5.

– Karnataka: Heavy rainfall until June 6.

Additionally, thunderstorms with light to moderate rainfall, lightning, and gusty winds (30-40 kmph) are anticipated over Kerala, Mahe, Lakshadweep, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, and Karnataka. Light to moderate rainfall is expected over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry & Karaikal, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Rayalaseema over the next week.
