Her resilience shone through in the Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) exams. In 2019, Priyal secured the 19th rank, earning a position as district registrar. She continued her pursuit, achieving the 34th rank in 2020 and becoming an assistant commissioner in the cooperative department. Her latest triumph came in the 2021 MPPSC exams, where she secured the sixth rank, qualifying her for the deputy collector post.
Supportive Family and Future Aspirations
Priyal attributes her success to her supportive parents. “I hail from a rural area where girls marry young, but my parents did not pressure me to get married and gave me complete freedom to pursue my studies,” she shared. Her father is a farmer, and her mother a homemaker, both standing as pillars of support in her educational journey.

Currently posted as district registrar in Indore, Priyal is not resting on her laurels. She has set her sights on the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) exams, aspiring to become an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer.

Pending Reservations and Final Selections
An official noted that Priyal is among the top 10 candidates for the deputy collector post in the 2021 MPPSC exam. Out of 290 posts advertised, results for 87% have been declared, with the remainder pending due to a court case regarding 27% reservation for Other Backward Classes (OBC) in government jobs. The final selections await the court’s verdict.
