Chandrababu Naidu’s Return: Amaravati Reinstated as AP Capital

Chandrababu Naidu : What is the capital of Andhra Pradesh? For five years, this question has been the subject of many jokes on social media. Telangana folks have often mocked Andhra residents, asking them to define their capital. However, these jests are likely to end now. The TDP coalition has secured a decisive victory over the YSRCP, claiming power.

The Jana Sena party contested in 21 constituencies and won every one of them. The combined force of Jana Sena, TDP, and BJP has limited the YSRCP to just 11 seats. Predicting how many of the 10 MLAs, apart from Jagan, will remain in the party is also challenging.

With Chandrababu Naidu back in power, Amaravati is set to be reinstated as the capital of Andhra Pradesh. Completing the halted projects in Amaravati will be his primary duty.

Chandrababu Naidu is preparing to take the oath as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh in Amaravati on June 12. This move aims to put an end to the capital city jokes, with Andhra residents proudly posting on social media, “This is my Andhra Pradesh, and our capital is Amaravati.”

As soon as the election results were out, Chandrababu Naidu ensured that all files from 2019 to 2024 were locked away securely to prevent any leaks.

Meanwhile, officials who worked against the Telugu Desam Party during the YSRCP regime, including IAS and IPS officers, are now in a state of panic. Although TDP has stated that it will not seek revenge, fear has gripped the YSRCP camp as soon as TDP came into power.

Actions are reportedly being taken to arrest former YSRCP MLA Pinnelli Ramakrishna Reddy, who vandalized an EVM, and other leaders who assaulted voters at polling stations.
